In-depth Analysis on Online Job Postings in Indian Labour Market Using Web Scrapping Technology

Abstract

Data is the new oil in the 21st century, the vast amount of data and information fuels rapid changes in technology in every field of business and also in the daily activity of every individual's life. The human-centered and dependent sector- Human Resource Management cannot escape the digital disruption of technology taking over jobs of HR. Most preferred recruitment method by global companies is online recruitment through job board as it is very effective and saves a lot of time and cost of recruitment and selection. In this study, we scraped 30,000 plus job ads online form various Indian companies to find out the knowledge and skills that are in demand in a particular industry and we found if there is a relationship between the minimum experiences required based on location and number of job vacancies.
