With the promising growth of the ICT, e commerce has immense growth potential to dispense to the business world. Businesses have to be keep up with the technology to reach the consumers as the Smartphone has changed the way of communication. In order to thrive and excel in the business, the e commerce is driven towards the m commerce. Other than basic features of the mobile phones like, voice applications, entertainment and gaming, the development in technology has added digital and information based applications. The widespread availability of the mobile devices and the related attributes ensured the path way for the progress of the m commerce. India has become a massive online marketplace in which more than 50% of the users shop through the mobile devices. In this research paper, the impacts of demographic factors on m commerce adoption among the consumers are studied. The study focuses mainly in Coimbatore District consumers. The demographic factors are studied through structured questionnaire.
