Linear Induction motor is type of unique function induction motor which is use to obtain rectilinear motor. Other usual type of induction motor provides turning movement. This is an advanced type of induction motor which gives linear movement. This research work proposes the design idea and implementation of a single-sided linear induction motor (LIM) towards shaping the end effect intensity, reduces the primary weight of the system and improves the efficiency by multi-objective optimization (MOO) approach. This optimization technique is a grouping of genetic algorithm (GA) with cuckoo search (GCS) algorithm introduced to handle the efficiency and power factor, as well as to play down the end effect intensity, simultaneously. The performance of the designed novel approach will be validated based on the measure of different electrical and mechanical parameters. Aluminum thickness, Efficiency, Power factor, Maximum thrust slip, Primary width/pole pitch, Primary current density and the braking force due to the end effect parameters are validated. Finally, to validate the optimization results, 3D finite element method is employed and the results compared with the existing technique like GA, PSO, and Cuckoo search.
