Many scholars do their research on local and global cultures. It is very limited research discussing Sundanese food relating to the local and global culture. This paper is a preliminary study and it is trying to describe and explore how the Sundanese food as a part of the local culture meets the global culture. From the data obtained, it is found that there are Sundanese food (as the part of the Sundanese heritage) as a local meets a global culture, such as, cireng, surabi, baso and rujak. The acculturation of the global content to the local one can be said as the mixture of the local and the global culture.
