Progressive Web Apps (PWAs) represent a revolutionary approach to web development, combining the best of web and mobile applications to enhance user experience. PWAs leverage modern web technologies, including service workers, web app manifests, and HTTPS, to deliver fast, reliable, and engaging applications that function offline and provide push notifications. Unlike traditional web applications, PWAs offer near-native performance without requiring app store installations. This study explores the impact of PWAs on user experience by analyzing key metrics such as performance, engagement, and accessibility. Case studies of companies like Twitter, Flipkart, and Starbucks demonstrate the advantages of PWAs, including reduced loading times, improved user retention, and lower data consumption. However, PWAs still face challenges, such as limited access to native device features and inconsistent browser support. Findings indicate that PWAs significantly enhance web performance and user satisfaction while reducing dependency on app stores. Future advancements should focus on improving native integrations, expanding PWA adoption across industries, and addressing existing limitations.
