Abstract

The digital transformation in the restaurant industry has led to the widespread adoption of QR code- based menu ordering systems, streamlining the customer experience and improving operational efficiency. This research investigates the impact of QR code digital menu ordering systems on customer satisfaction, business operations, and cost efficiency. By evaluating real-world implementations in cities such as Tokyo, New York, and London, the paper assesses the concrete benefits of digital menus, including faster service delivery, reduced labor costs, and enhanced customer engagement. Additionally, it examines the challenges associated with these systems, such as customer reluctance to adopt technology, data privacy concerns, and the potential for over-reliance on digital interfaces. The findings highlight the importance of balancing innovation with human interaction in order to create a seamless and effective dining experience. A framework for integrating QR code ordering systems in restaurants is proposed, ensuring transparency and data security while enhancing operational efficiency. The paper forecasts the future of digital menu systems in the hospitality sector, emphasizing their role in post-pandemic recovery and long-term sustainability.
