Abstract

The rapid and massive growth of cities leads to an increasing variety of urban issues including traffic jams together with resource management problems and public safety matters. The forefront position of Artificial Intelligence (AI) drives changes to urban areas into smart cities through better infrastructure management and improved governance functions along with enhanced citizen service delivery. Through this research its Investigated that How Artificial Intelligence can transform or change the Structure of cities with some specialized Focus on Transportation Platforms in Urban areas along with public security measures and energy management and administrative procedures this paper evaluates AI technologies' concrete results by examining three cities that have incorporated AI such as Singapore Amsterdam and Barcelona. The implementation of AI technology resulted in a 30% reduction of congestion and led to 20% better energy conservation alongside the improvement of governance efficiency. The main ethical barriers pertain to privacy issues of data collection and artificial intelligence biases as well as surveillance practices. Analysis shows why the integration of AI technologies needs proper equilibrium when new technology should mirror ethical oversight requirements while maintaining public trust. Regulatory system should be established by the Policymakers while ensuring Transparent Ai solutions that is Welcoming for all Residents and peoples. This should be done to achieve Smart and sustainable and equitable cities. The research presents findings about AI capabilities and forecasts the conditions of modern urban environments.
