Exploring Fuzzy Open Sets: Maximal, Minimal, and Mean Variations

M. Sankari
Abstract

In this study, we delve into the realm of fuzzy set theory, focusing particularly on fuzzy open sets and their diverse characteristics. Specifically, we investigate the properties and applications of fuzzy maximal, minimal, and mean open sets. We've noted the presence of fuzzy topological spaces lacking fuzzy minimal α-open sets, prompting an inquiry into spaces devoid of both fuzzy minimal and maximal α-open sets. This exploration leads us to examine whether such spaces are fuzzy α-connected and whether they exhibit properties of fuzzy α-cut-point spaces. Additionally, we delve into the characterization of fuzzy mean α-open sets within fuzzy T1-connected topological spaces, shedding light on their specific attributes and implications.
