Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the surface roughness characteristics of E0300 alloy steel when machined using CCMT09T308PM4225 and DNMX150608WM1525 inserts under dry and wet cutting conditions. Surface roughness is a critical factor that impacts the quality and functionality of machined components. The study involves a comparative analysis of surface roughness profiles achieved in different cutting environments to identify surface finish quality. Comparison of dry and wet cutting environments on surface roughness characteristics of E0300 alloy steel were investigated. The results of this investigation are expected to offer valuable insights for optimizing machining processes and improving the surface quality of E0300 alloy steel parts in various industrial applications.
