J. Avinash, N. Sudhakar
Abstract

Optimal and reliable routing in wireless sensor network becomes a more critical task which needs to be done with more concern to ensure the increased packet transmission rate. This is focused in the existing research method by introducing the decision-gathering scheme (DGS) in which critical event detection with the concern of co-occurrence between clusters. However, the existing work doesn’t focus on QoS factors where wireless nodes are still lacks from various resource constraints. This resolved in this work by proposing Location and QoS Guaranteed Routing Technique (LQoS-RT) to ensure the increased data transmission rate. In this research method clustering is performed initially to group the sensor nodes based on their location by using trust and density aware Clustering technique. Here the location of each node is predicted by introducing the Location prediction algorithm. Based on the predicted location clustering would be done. Here cluster head selection is done by using Firefly algorithm. Finally optimal routing is performed to ensure the increased data transmission rate with guaranteed QoS factors. The overall evaluation of the research work is conducted in the NS2 simulation environment from which it is proved that the proposed research method guarantees the optimal and reliable delivery of data packets with increased transmission rate.
