This research aims to study the behavior of pedestrians crossing the road at signalized pedestrian crossings with countdown displays under mixed traffic conditions. The data were collected from four locations of 4- lane and 6-lane street in the suburban areas of Bangkok, Thailand. Pedestrian start-up time, speed, and headway were collected. Those values were extracted, analyzed, and compared with the values from Highway Capacity Manual [1]. It was found that pedestrian speed on 6-lane and pedestrian headway are significantly different than those from HCM at 95 percent confidence level. Factors affecting start-up time are the number of violate motorcycle, average vehicle speed, crossing distance, and traffic volume. Crossing distance, age, sex, the number of violating motorcycles, the number of violating vehicles and average vehicle speed affect pedestrian speed at a 95- confidence level. The number of pedestrian in-group is the only factor that effecting time headway at a 95 confidence level.
