Abstract

The transformation which is achieved by the new mass media and E- websites of public relation come out with new media reality in which the citizen has become sender and receiver of the message at the same time. The appearance of covid 19 which is threatening the world and affecting the economic, social and health aspects, citizen has found himself in front of influx of information and news related to the developments of this world epidemic. There are different points of views some of them in favor of the importance of publishing positive awareness and others have argued that the new mass media has drawn black picture through rumors ,enlargement and excitement. Thus people have found themselves in awful nightmare the result of which is severe psychological state. This study has aimed to clarify the role of the new mass media and e-websites of public relation in enhancing health awareness of covid 19 and introducing the experience of UAE in this field. It has come in three chapters in theoretical framework while the team members of the study have used descriptive approach in the practical field.They have distributed questionnaire for numbers of media men, experts and the students in the department of public relation, Aldar University College, in Dubai, on the purpose of realizing the importance of mass media in UAE in enhancing health awareness to combat coved19. The most important result of this study that demonstrating the use of the sample’s respondents for all social mass media platform on coved 19 through Facebook which has got high middle degree then the applications of WhatsAppand Instagram , then has come other applications such as (Snap ChatTwitter, YouTube and WhatsApp).
