Human resource is the most crucial asset in any organization, hence if it is managed properly can contribute towards the overall success. Also, the practices of human resource management (HRM) are progressively taken into consideration as the main influential aspects of the financial performance of organizations. The investigation aims to comprehend the impact of HRM practices over financial performance in the context of a private bank located in India with many branches at Mumbai. Thus, the researchers have tried to investigate the impact of various components of HRM practices on the financial performance of a sample of 180 employees including its seven branches. Data were analyzed using SPSS and AMOS version 21. Results showed a positive significant relationship between compensation along with benefits, work-life policies, training plus development, and financial performance. Based on the findings, respondent organizations should revisit their HRM policies related to compensations and benefits, work-life policies in addition to training to find its relevance towards financial performance objectives.
