Rabbits are monogastric (they have a single stomach) and herbivorous (they eat plants). They need to receive nutrients in specific amounts to grow and perform at their best. Most domestic rabbits are given a pelleted feed that provides essential nutrients. Giving a good quality pallet and maintain their moisture of pallet is the most challenging in tropical country like Malaysia. Various challenges in ensuring survival of the rabbits in Malaysia like rabbit behavior that cause pallet damage likes urinate on their meal. Another challenge is like most the pallets are eaten by wild animals like birds and rat. Thus, a good electronic automatic feeder system is needed so that its can control the pallet damage, moisture, higene and diet of the rabbit. This project is to develop an automatic rabbit feeder system that able to support three class of rabbit breed which is Flemish Giant, New Zealand White and Netherland Dwarf rabbit. Each rabbit will be feed at different amount of pallet per day. A real timer is used to control amount of feeding times per day according their breed class. The weight amount is measured by a load sensor. An analysis has been done in term of pallet meal distribution and weight improvement analysis. The result shows that the setting mode for each rabbit is suitable and work efficiently during every meal with sufficient amount. In addition, all rabbits have shows weight improvement before and after applied this feeder. The meat breed gain more weight and grow quickly compare with others rabbit. By having this system, it will reduce breeder feeding time needed especially in large farm that have hundred to thousand rabbit.
