Brain Tumor Detection Using Mask R-CNN

Mounika Gajja and Ponnuru Sowjanya

Brain tumor detection is most complicated problem that medical officials face. Brain tumor segmentation and analysis has gained much attention in recent years. The main purpose of tumor detection is to identify what kind of tumor is it and what is the tumor area in brain and is it dangerous or not. In order to detect the tumor we need to train the machines by magnetic resonance images (MRI) of brain and test them. In this model we take magnetic resonance images (MRI) of brain and train them. The extension of the work is done by calculating certain parameters of the image. In our project we use transfer learning during training. The proposed system helps to predict the tumor more accurately.
