Results of experimental study on physical model of influence of structural-mode parameters of new ashcatching device on aerodynamic structure of dispersed flow in zone of separation of particles are presented. According to the results of a previous numerical study, the flow structure can significantly affect, the efficiency of separation of particles. Based on the results of the experiment, it was concluded, that it is possible to increase the efficiency of ash collection of this device. This will reduce the abrasive effect of the particles on the heat exchange surfaces and the formation of ash deposits on them. In addition, the efficiency of standard ash-catching equipment on boilers operating on high-ash coal will increase.
