Multilevel – Stepwise Linear Regression Model to Forecast Mortality Rate Caused by Covid-19

The COVID-19 has spread to all countries and gained attention of governments and health care organizations. The development of COVID-19 has been exponential in many countries. The COVID development and spread was predicted by many researchers. The predictive model used, were based on different attributes such as awareness of COVID among people and preventive measure employed by government bodies. In this paper, we propose to predict daily and total deceased COVID – 19 cases based on number of confirmed COVID -19 cases and Recovered COVID -19 cases through multilevel - stepwise linear regression. The model predicted deceased cased with 92 % accuracy.
