Today, the social service system plays an important role in determining the stability of society and the well-being of the population. Especially in the current pandemic world, the sharp increase in demand and need for social services in social life increases the relevance of socio-philosophical research and analysis of this issue. Therefore, this article examines the interpretation of social services in different regions and its specifics, and identifies the factors influencing the development trends of social services. The institutionalization of social service as an activity is also analyzed on the basis of the influence of religious, economic, cultural and political factors in different regions, and the role of socio-psychological features in the formation of professional competence.
