Chicken farm market demand is increasingly high even in multi-crisis during covid-19 response period. So, it needs a continuous increase in production to meet market needs. One of the farms that is highly promoted in Indonesia is the laying hens business. This experimental study aimed to see the effectiveness of drinking water tools for laying hens. Provision of drinking water must really meet the needs of sufficient and healthy water in laying hens every day. The water provided must really meet the drinking water requirements. Water in egg production is important because most of the basic ingredients of eggs are water, which will directly affect the quality of the egg itself. The results of this experimental study show that; First, the technical provision of drinking water to laying hens using a simple tool called a microcontroller using a paralon which is split into two is more economical than a nipple tool. Second, the advantages of using a microcontroller can have sufficient drinking water availability, but have the risk of having to fill it manually and have to clean it often.
