Analysis of Super-Lift LUO Dc-Dc Converter Using Fuzzy Logic Controller

Abstract

Power DC/DC converter plays major role in renewable energy sources. There are many DC/DC converters designed by the researchers like buck, boost etc. In these converters, output voltage is increased by arithmetic progression, but comparatively super lift Luo converter increases the voltage gain in geometrical fashion. In this paper, super lift Luo DC/DC converter topology is designed for Single Input Single Output (SISO) DC/DC converter. Multi Input Single output (MISO), and Single Input Multi Output (SIMO) converter structures are also shown. Their advantages and disadvantages are also discussed. The analysis is done using SISO super lift Luo converter. Voltage regulation is affected by dynamic response, high peak overshoot, large rising and settling time. To overcome these issues, fuzzy logic controller is designed in this paper. Theoretical and simulation values are verified. Simulink model was developed using MATLAB/Simulink.
