The paper provides the results of a study of the chemical composition of lunar soil based on the data of the Clementine and Lunar Prospector spacecraft, as well as the American satellite Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter (LRO). The article includes maps and diagrams of localization of anomalies of natural fossils on the surface of the visible side of the Moon. In connection with the Luna-25 expedition planned by the Russian Space Agency, the chemical, mineralogical, and structural features in potential areas of landing of the Russian space descent vehicle have been studied.
