Abstract

This article addresses the issues of improving the educational and methodological support of the system of advanced training for primary education teachers. The following tasks are identified and investigated in the article: to analyze pedagogical, psychological literature on improving the educational and methodological support in the discipline “Methodology of teaching the native language” of the continuing education system for primary school teachers; to improve the mechanisms for the implementation of educational and methodological support of the discipline "Methodology of teaching the native language"; to improve the applied-technological model of educational and methodological support for the advanced training system for primary school teachers according to the “Methodology of teaching the native language; to improve assessment criteria and indicators of the development of professional competence of primary school teachers on the basis of educational and methodological support of the discipline "Methodology of teaching the native language".
