This article discusses the psychological characteristics of learning a second language, taking into account motivation in the process of teaching a non-native language, and also the optimal ways to learn it.From the point of view of the theory of speech activity, the scientific views of psychologists and psycholinguists on the patterns of generation of speech utterance were studied and analyzed.The article also considers situational exercises that contribute to creating an incentive to speak, i.e. motivation.
