This article is devoted to the use of speech situations in the process of teaching the Russian language. In particular, the use of speech situations is considered as one of the methods of forming professional competence. The authors, analyzing the types of speech situations intended for acquiring listening and speaking skills, classify them as conditionally speech and speech. The article also discusses the stages of creating conditional speech situations
