A comparative analysis of the results of surgical treatment of children with congenital glaucoma using Glautex drainage allowed us to establish that anti-glaucomatous surgery using Glautex drainage makes it possible to achieve a stable hypotensive effect, but at the same time prevents excessive filtration of intraocular fluid in newly formed outflow pathways, which is a prevention of postoperative hypotension and, as a result, detachment of the choroid.
