Abstract

The article discusses the issues of improving teachers' self-development competencies in professional development and the continuing education system. The authors see the implementation of these ideas in the quality training of teaching staff. The authors believe that the tasks of the continuing education system include the definition and refinement of the educational needs of teachers; assisting each teacher in building an individual educational path of professional growth; providing information and methodological support; the organization of fruitful pedagogical interactions.
