Abstract

The paper presents the review of the current state of research and experimental developments in the field of piezoelectric materials for ultrasonic transducers applied in shock-wave therapy machines. The general description of the piezoelectric materials and their basic types that have found application in ultrasonic wave generation devices is provided. The purpose of this review article is to determine the type of piezoelectric material most suitable for the manufacture of piezoelectric ultrasound transducers in shock-wave therapy machines.
