A New Multi-agent Model for the Propagation and Reflection of Electromagnetic Waves in Air and Dielectric Media

Abstract

In this paper, a new multi-agent model of electromagnetic wave propagation in air and dielectric media is proposed based on the Maxwell's equations and Finite Difference Time Dominance (FDTD). The electric field and the magnetic field are used as agents to form the multi-agent model. Regarding the FDTD and the TLM methods, the new model has the same results as the conventional methods. Numerical results are obtained in the case of air and dielectric propagation compared to the FDTD results. According to our knowledge, the proposed model combining multi-agent systems and electromagnetic waves is a new unreported model.
