Anticorrosion Behaviour of Amino-2, Hydroxy Pyridine-3 and Methyl-4 Quinoline- 8 in Sulphuric Acid Medium

In this paper an attempt has been made with green inhibitors of Amino-2, Hydroxy Pyridine-3, and Methyl-2 quinoline-8 with steel restraint of mile property in 2N Sulphuric corrosive. The corrosion inhibitors were synthesised and tested by UV-Visible, FTIR, NMR, weight loss measurements, polarisation studies, electrochemical impedance spectra (EIS) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). With inhibitors concentration level of 50-350 pp, our examination focus is on 2N Sulphuric acid. Among the four concentrations of both inhibitors 250ppm is produced higher inhibitor efficiency. The results indicate that the synthesised inhibitors achieved stronger in the chosen corroding intermediate and functions by adsorption or in the metal by forming film of protective layer.
