The purpose of this study is to comprehend the relationship between chakra meditation experience motivation (CMEM) and health state perception on Minnesota multiphasic personality in individuals who have experienced chakra meditation. This study explored correlations in subjects at the N Temple Zen Center. To this end, data were collected from 223 questionnaires administered to 250 respondents. The survey consisted of the CMEM scale, the Korean health status measure, and the Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory-2 (MMPI-II). The results were analyzed using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) macro program, and the findings indicated that mercy has a positive correlation with psychopathic deviation (Pd), paranoia (Pa), and compulsion (Pt). Escapism has a positive correlation with Hs, depression (D), hysteria (Hy), Pd, Pa, Pt, schizophrenia (Sc), hypomania (Ma), and social introversion (Si). Self-efficacy has a positive correlation with Pd, Pt, Sc, and Si. Narcissism has a negative correlation with D, Hy, and masculinity-femininity (Mf), and a positive correlation with Ma. Emotional stability has a positive correlation with Hs, D, Pd, Pa, Pt, Sc, and Si. Physical health has a negative correlation with Hs, D, Hy, Pd, Mf, Pa, Pt, Sc, and Si. Emotional health state has a negative correlation with Hs, D, Hy, Pd, Mf, Pa, Pt, Sc, and Si. Social health state has a negative correlation with Hs, D, Mf, Pt, Sc, and Si. Subsequently, the contributions and limitations of this study, and suggestions for further research are discussed. This study is meaningful in that it was the first finding on the CMEM and health state perception on Minnesota multiphasic personality of those who experienced meditation in Korea.
