With the growing deployment in the power grid of PhotoVoltaic (PV)assets and their contribution to electricity generation, reliable models for the performance and stability of these sources are imperative. In this article, a new technique for evaluating the performance of more than one generating device involved within the implementation of PV plants is proposed. After obtaining failure and repair rates, the probabilities of operation of Complete-generation, Intermittent-generation, and Down states are received by the use of Monte Carlo Simulation. By the usage of the load duration curves acquired from load data, Loss of Energy Expectation[LOEE], Loss of Load Probability[LOLP], Loss of Load Expectation[LOLE], Energy Index of Reliability[EIR] had been calculated beneath unique peak load conditions. The proposed algorithms were carried out in 162 kW PhotoVoltaic powerplant at Koneru Lakshmaiah Educational Foundation(KLEF). Simulation results indicate the performance of the suggested algorithm.
