Gas Tungsten Arc Welding is the most popular technique for welding Aluminium and its alloys in industries for mass production. It removes the oxide layer formed on the weld interface and also produces defect free welds. This paper deals with various parameters that influences the high-quality welds by current (Amps), welding speed (mm/min) and gas flow rate (lt/min). The weld strength can be measured by Tensile strength (MPa). In this present investigation, Al 6063 is the ultimate base metal that targets better weldability by identifying most influencing parameter and contribution of each parameters by Analysis of Variance. Minitab 18 has been used for systematic approach to optimize better strength and quality of weldments for corresponding welding parameters.
