Abstract

Routing is one of the most important problem need to be considered in mobile adhoc networks . Many routing protocols along with optimization technique have been developed to overcome the problems in routing . To some extent the route recovery is done. Failure of route , condition of the channel need to be verified while designing to avoid packet loss and power loss. In this paper, a fuzzy logic based technique is proposed to estimate the node status by evaluating the parameters which are useful for routing purpose. Fuzzy logic allows to reduce the packet drop and the delay in the routing caused by congestion. A new optimization technique i.e modified moth flame optimization algorithm technique is imposed to identify the node and link life time based on the movement of the node and the energy consumption of the node. This optimization is an partial attempt to identify the movement of moths and to give a best optimised solution. The experimental results are calculated using MATLAB tool to identify the increase in packet delivery ratio by decreasing the delay constraint and compared with other techniques like modified cuckoo search, LAP, PNLP.
