A Study on the Design of SiPM Integrated Circuit Capable of Single Photon Detection

Spectroscopic analysis is a one of good measurement method from a sample to analyze the type and amount of a constituent element or compound from a substance. Recently PMT or SiPM was used a lot for single photon detection. In this paper, we simulate and lay out an integrated circuit for signal measurement of SiPM. The performance of each circuit was designed differently using resistance, capacitance and buffer. We designed the RGC TIA scheme that satisfies the requirement of low signal noise characteristics, operating frequency and bandwidth.
