The ECDM is a non-conventional machining technology adopted for machining of electrically non-conducting abstracts like glass, ceramics, quartz, etc. for specific parametric conditions. An absolute analysis is conducted to accompany alternating the aftereffect of EFR on machining achievement. Eventually, MRR of 2.560 mg/min is accomplished application in PF-ECDM process. The after-effects of analysis acknowledge that the injected beginning electrolyte enhances the machining achievement over accepted ECDM process. Hence, apparent improvements in the action achievement are accomplished at an accurate amount of EFR . In this development, in the beginning, electrolyte is injected through a tubular electrode with controlled breeze of electrolyte and air into the machining area during ECDM. However, phenomena involved in the material removal mechanism in ECDM is not completely explored till date. Possible approaching efforts to enhance the material removal in ECDM are as well discussed. In view of this adjust these limitations of ECDM process, this paper reports development of pressurized flow-ECDM (PF-ECDM) process.
