The Internet of Things (IoT) is a technology where many heterogeneous devices are connected with internet. Here, the most important information is stored, monitored and controlled remotely with sensors that are installed on it. Since there is no standardization in IoT, most of the industries are working towards the problem of securing the IoT systems from unauthorized user. Normally, IoT devices that are connected in a network may undergo lot of threats and hacking attacks, so one can design a network in such a way that it will provide safe and secure system that can withstand attacks. Before designing process, there is a need to understand the challenges faced by the IoT environment. For this, each challenge must be clearly define, quantify acceptable risk, and then only it can be able to provide an optimal solution to any IoT applications. The main objective of this paper is to discuss and analysis the challenges in the area of technology, business and society that the IoT industry undergoes and how to overcome from the issues.
