We have identified 51 articles from the referred Journals from different databases like Taylor/Springer, Google Scholar, ABI Inform/Science Direct/IEEEXPLORE/Francis. Keyword analysis, Influential authors and journals, Citation analysis, guideline for selecting RE techniques are presented in this paper. The synthesis of these articles have revealed that relatively smaller amount of was conducted on RE technique, and, second, framing conceptual framework was major focus of researcher’s. This paper can help decision makers in selecting appropriate RE technique and to understand the recent development in RE.
