Abstract

Cloud computing provides the environment of dealing of computer resources, software services and information via internet and get the benefits of shared resources. The rapid growth and transition towards cloud computing environments resulted in various security issues and challenges. This work deals with the efficient use of symmetric key cryptographic techniques in order to provide a security architecture which is robust and provides security at each level of cloud computing environment. Performance evaluation of various encryption techniques like AES, DES and 3DES is done and on the basis of results obtained AES and BLOWFISH is used in the model. This model also incorporates distributive server concept for security and one time password for authentication.
