Abstract

This paper proposes an embedded system which uses the retinal blood vessel for authentication and safe withdrawal of money from ATM machine. Eye retinal blood vessel recognition is a biometric technology as it is present inside the human body it cannot be stole by others. If the retina gets matched with the vascular pattern of the previously obtained data which is stored in the data base, then successful withdrawal will be done. If the Retina belongs to an unauthenticated person the ATM will not do any withdrawal of money. This system use Raspberry Pi for fetching authenticated information from the database. The Line tracking algorithm is used to get clear and sharp image output. GSM is used to send message to the customer after transaction and even after the transaction is failed.
