The State-of-the-art of IoT based Energy Efficient Wireless Area Networks: A Comprehensive Survey

Recent development in Information Communication Technology (ICT) yields lots of changes in our day to day life style. One of such emerging field is called as Wireless Body Sensor Network (WBSN) that provides efficient and cost-effective Smart Healthcare application both in normal and emergency cases. When WSN reached into some maturity level this Wireless Body area networks has lots of research challenges through Internet of Things Communication. One of the research challenges is identifying link quality using Machine Learning approach in proactive way hence by enhancing reliability in Wireless Body Area Networks. All the collected data from the Human body can be correlated with physical environment. Hence proper intelligent mechanism has been introduced to efficiently perform Data Fusion with Correlation property. In emergency cases to provide intent treatment, proper routing algorithms can be designed in order to provide suitable treatment in timely manner. Hence this paper provide complete survey about recent trends and working going on in Wireless Body Sensor Networks in terms of ensuring proper reliability ,Energy efficiency and Data Fusion values. Lots of comparative analysis also given in this survey for easy understanding of the researcher. This work is concluded with future challenges and enhancement in smart Hospitals.
