A Review on Brain Tumor Segmentation and Classification from Magnetic Resonance Images Using Deep Learning Methods

The most challenging and difficult task in the field of medical diagnosis is to detect a disease correctly to help in early and proper treatment which can help in saving a person’s life. One of the most life- threatening diseases is considered to be Brain Tumor. Brain Tumors are fatal diseases and could end a life. So an early detection and diagnosis is quite an essential step to save a life. Anaccurate detection of tumor becomes a compulsory task in the field of medical by using advanced algorithms to help clinical experts to diagnose diseases more accurately. This review paper helps us to understand various methodologies to detect brain tumor and also to understand the different types of tumor. This paper also helps us to analyze the accuracies of several methods so that one can choose the best method for detection of brain tumor. The types of brain tumor which are classified using different deep learning methods is also analyzed in this paper. By this review, we can utilize the maximum advantages of different algorithms and can help in the clinical routine to diagnose brain diseases.
