The modern stage of social development is characterized by the widespread use of information technologies and new approaches to communication between people. Computer technologies are increasingly penetrating all spheres of life: they have become an integral part of socializing and health care, service industry, science, etc. The education system cannot ignore computer technologies either. Due to the initiative of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, many schools are equipped with IT rooms, projectors and interactive whiteboards. Modern school is moving away from the rare usage of computer technologies in favor of integral educational information space that provides vast new opportunities. Nowadays, in the course of teaching physics within the academic program of general education school, teachers can develop a system of knowledge in their students with the help of comprehensive courses used in the educational information space. The article analyses the recent changes and achievements resulting from the implementation of the model of teaching electrodynamics in the physics course at secondary school in Kazakhstan.
