Optimization of Parameters for Student Assessment Using Response Surface Methodology

M. Aruna
Abstract

The current research work pacts with optimization of the student test scores while taking Tests and Final exam in two different courses, Numerical methods in Engineering and Mathematical methods. Optimization of test scores are constructive to forecast the correlation between them. The evaluation is completed by using Response Surface Methodology (RSM). A second-order quadratic model was proposed for test scores, considering the Assignment, Quiz and work sheet as the parameters, using Central Composite Design (CCD).Central composite design is employed to envisage and estimate the effects of three factors in relation with their impact on the scores of the student. The established models are castoff to decide the optimum evaluation parameters. The implication of the established factors over their particular runs has been assessed using analysis of variance (ANOVA). These optimized assessment constraints are validated experimentally, and it is observed that the investigational outcomes agreed by means of predicted outcomes.
