CD Estimation Using FrFT in SM OFC

The present Single Mode Optical Fiber Cable (SMOFC) based MPLS back bone stresses seriously as the telecom operators moving from the present LTE network to the future IoT network. Chromatic Dispersion is the only parameter which seriously effecting propagating distance in the SM fibre. Hence the real time estimating the CD in the OF cable is the challenge of the network engineer [2]. Fractional Fourier Tranform is the novel technique for the real time estimation of Chromatic dispersion in the optical channel. At the Receiver end estimated the CD using FrFT technique and optimum order determining by PWD method. With this method, we are going to estimate CD error should be less than 85 ps/nm and total CD not greater than 30000 ps/nm
