Mechanical and Tribological Properties of Hybrid Al Metal Matrix Composite Using Industrial Waste and Agriculture Waste:- An Overview

Abstract

Due to heavy demand of technology transfer tons of industrial and agricultural waste are produced every year which prime concern for environment so in this review work comparison between hybrid Aluminium Metal matrix composite (Al MMC) among agricultural waste with or without industrial waste was done. there are so many industrial and agricultural waste such as red mud, fly ash, Rice husk ash, coconut shell ash, palm shell etc. are used by many researcher for development of MMC and all of them are tabulated their mechanical and tribological properties and found that with the amount of reinforcement mechanical tensile strength, hardness, yield strength improved but value of ductility decreased and from microstructure analysis revealed that uniform distribution of reinforcement particles .based on data base on mechanical properties Al hybrid MMC have better strength than Al MMC having only one reinforcement.
