This paper aims to focus on one of the most important monitoring methods used by the security authorities, namely the video surveillance. To avoid their traditional problems, it is proposed to integrate them with the Geographic Information Systems (GIS) , and thus to access each camera via GIS according to the required location of the occurrence of an event or crime in that place covered by the camera, and stored this part in a different place and then displayed. This study helps to facilitate access to all recordings by decision-makers without going through conventional methods and without dealing with the Digital Video Recorder (DVR). This study also contributes to the prediction of any object if required by the security force and is present in this recording, by matching the recording with a store of pictures of any object believed to be related or linked to a crime.
