Abstract

The article analyzes the global logistics market and reveals that one of its main problems is the need to reduce the high costs of logistics companies, including through the introduction of information technology. The emergence of new mobile and cloud technologies, social networks and large amounts of structured and unstructured data has led to the emergence of a "new style of IT logistics", which contributes to increased flexibility and speed of information exchange, formation of collective experience, as well as rapid identification of problems and competent management decisions. The purpose of the article is to identify the problems of the use of logistics systems IT in the economic crisis. Improving the efficiency of logistics services in the context of globalization and information geoeconomics requires new approaches to the collection, processing and transmission of information using logistics flows, necessary for making operational management decisions in logistics. It is established that the use of IT requires logistics personnel to constantly improve their skills, which contributes to the generation and diffusion of new knowledge. General, particular and specific problems of using IT in logistics systems in the conditions of the economic crisis are identified and ways of solving the problems of IT application in the management of logistics systems are proposed.
