Worldwide smart phone are being used massively by many users. And the manufacturers of smart phones are making huge investment in innovation of these smart phones in order to lure the customers. The main objective of this research is to find out the impact of demographic profile on the use of a smart phone in India. It was found that the smart phones in India are used more for fun that as a utility. So the strategy marketers need to adopt is to device the strategy in such a way the utility of a smart phone can be projected and the usage can be enhanced.
