A Study of Workers Participation in Management in Samco, Kaniyambadi

In general the participation means the meaningful interaction of human beings with people they are concerned to enhance their sense of being in control of their immediate enuimant. In ultimate manner participation enables in governance commonly termed as democracy. Workers participation in management that crystal likes industrial democracy means management of an industrial unit by the people for the people. Workers Participation in Management gives the workers a since of belongingness to the organisation and also a sense of commitment to various decisions taken. Despite variation in interpretation all agree that participation means sharing the decision making power between management and workers participation is a system of checks and balances which provides equity this requires great awareness education and conceptual skill from both the parties to make workers participation in management a success. Participation and involvement of workers in the management of industry is practiced in most countries of the world in Yugoslovia it is called self management, while in Germany it is known as co-determination, the International Labour Organisation (ILO) has been encouraging member nations to promote the schemes of workers participation in management.
