Human Resource Development has long been recognized by many developing nations as a basic factor for social- economic emancipation. It is a process that is concerned with in the Organization. In the changed global scenario of industrial development, which faster a drive for competitiveness based on improved quality in all faction of an organization, concerns on motivation level of the employees have received special significance. According to Fred Luthans “Motivation is a process that starts with a physiological (or) psychological deficiency (or) need that activates behavior (or) a drive that is aimed at a goal (or) incentive”. In our modern industrial society, the concept of motivation has gained significant importance, as it is closely associated with the productivity, morale buildings and other consideration of employees. In view of the above regard, to know the effect of the motivation a study has been carried out to study the employee motivation and its effects on the productivity of the organization.
